Learn to draw a cat, puppy, chicken, squid (a squid?), skateboards, a launch ramp for the skateboard (duh.) pizza, an airplane, a catapult for hurling the pizza up to the plane everyone is skateboarding on (this is getting dangerous), parachutes, and a dolphin riding a scooter at a disco party. Lightening strikes twice! We just got selected for Ottawa 2023 again for the half hour special Rubicon currently on HBO Max and Adult Swim. The second season ep I wrote was also an Official Selection of the 2020 Ottawa International Animation Fest. Super rock!

Ballmastrz is Christy Karaca’s jet fuel anime driven rock god fun for Adult Swim. Did I manage to take a cynically dystopian future narrative and make it into a happily aggressive love fest? Fuck yeah, I did!

12 serialized episodes on the number one spot online for children’s entertainment, DreamworksTV! Captain is just a bear who wants to be normal, that aint happening…

48 episodes of Fun Fake News for Dreamworks TV! Half of these were puppeted and the other half stop-motion animated!

DreamworksTV – Public Pool
12 fun filled episodes I directed and co-written with fantastic show creator David Fremont. It’s like Caddyshack in a swimming pool. Oh, them kids!
IATV – Uncle Morty’s Dub Shack
2 seasons/26 episodes of what became a cult classic. Cowritten and directed with the ever talented Trevor Moore.
San Francisco Chronicle said- Uncle Morty’s Dub Shack is Mystery Science Theatre 3000 meets the Beastie Boys. The series has that wonderful let’s-make-a-TV-show quality to it, which is by no means a knock in a TV world filled with slickly processed, underwhelming crap. And that’s precisely where the joy in watching it resides.
IATV doesn’t exist anymore and there’s tons of clips on youtube posted by fans. This here is one of my favorite dare to be dumb episodes.
SYFY/Wildbrain – Space is Dum
2 seasons/27 episodes of Dude and Larry sent to outer space to find potential locations for new Starbucks. They never found a proper location but they did have a lot of fun not doing it!

NHL – Carolina Hurricanes
Southern States Commercials
The Carolina Hurricanes wanted more kids in their arena on a new Family Night they were pushing. I simply helped people realize they already liked hockey but just weren’t aware of it.
“Do you like ice? Big sticks? Things that go real fast? Then you like Hockey!”
These won ADDY Gold and improved Family Night’s attendance so much we went on to do 14 spots.

Burger King wanted to show burger fans the difference between their flame broiled burgers and the competitor’s fried in grease product.
Why not convey this pertinent information through a socially accepted sassy vessel, cheerleaders.
“Your burgers are all greasy fried, yo, you aint got no alibi! You’re nastaaaaay!”
They enjoyed these so much they aired all through the NBA playoffs.
Burger King’s legals wouldn’t let me do the pitched version of this. I’ll tell you over a drink sometime.
DreamworksTV – Jetbear

Dreamworks Animation
DreamworksTV wanted to promote the honk out of their new show Jetbear on Instagram and Facebook and encourage viewers to share it. It’s a complex show, seemed the only way to tackle such a challenge was through a simple hummable song.
“Share the bear! Share the bear! You can do it at home in your underwear!”
The word “underwear” is funny to kids. Okay, I think it’s funny too.
Nickelodeon – Yummy Winter Wonderland

The holidays! Yes! Nothing else screams the holiday season is here like a mohawk sporting punk gingerbread man wreaking havoc on his snowboard. Am I right?!
This brought home the Promax. Yaay!
